Theme

A NASA-sponsored short course on data assimilation for sea-ice modelers will be held May 10-11, 2003, at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) in Woods Hole, MA, immediately preceding the AMS Seventh Conference on Polar Meteorology and Oceanography. The short course will be taught by Prof. Carl Wunsch and by Dr. Patrick Heimbach of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and will include coverage of the following topics:
